So get your date reserved as soon as you can. Here is a little information about what you can expect on your bass, crappie, sand bass fishing trip in June. Bass are shallow and deep.

The shallow bass are hitting a buzz bait early in the flooded grass along with a spook, frog and a yellow magic. The deep bass are hitting chrome rattle traps, jigs, swim baits, and DD22 type crank baits. There is tons of shad schools moving around the lake so food is plentiful. As for the crappie, my brush piles have been holding some very nice crappie along with catfish and brim and sometimes a nice bass. I have been catching them at 18 to 24 feet of water on minnows. Also catching a few on jigs.

The sand bass, big ones have been biting on a storm swim bait on deeper points and ridges in 20-26 feet of water. Throw the swim bait out on a long cast and let it go to the bottom. Than jig it back to the boat slowly and hang on. You will catch some nice 2 pounders or better and by the way, the bass are mixed in with the sand bass schools. So it is possible to catch a big bass along with the sand bass. The next couple of months is a great time to go bass, crappie, sand bass fishing on Fork so give me a call and lets go fishing!!
