Bass fishing on Lake Fork is very good right now. If you want to learn how to catch bass on plastic, time to get to the lake and go bass fishing. We had 43 in the boat yesterday and had another 15 that jumped off before we got them to the boat. Bass are shallow and feeding on shad until they are stuffed. Most of yesterdays fish came on a spook early shallow(5 feet or less) and than on a chrome rattle trap in the same area. Than we switched to plastics and caught them on a baby brush hog on carloina rig and texas rig. Bass are schooling so keep a chrome rattle trap tied on in case they come up with in  casting distance of you.

We are expecting rain this weekend and that will only improve the fishing. The lake is down 2.5 feet so we need some water back in the lake. So come bass fishing in the next few weeks and you will be glad you did. Crappie bite has also been good in brush piles using minnows and jigs. Best color for the crappie bite has been the green hornet by Bobby Garland. Best depth has been 22-26 ft. So if you decide to come bass fishing or crappie fishing or even sand bass fishing, consider using my guide service. I furnish everything for your trip just come get in the boat and go fishing.
