Lake Fork Fishing Report

Check out my Lake Fork fishing report to find where to catch crappie like this!

We are now in the hot part of the summer and the fishing gets harder as we get into late July and early August. I try to publish a Lake Fork fishing report weekly or this time of the year every other week. But I will report on what is going on so keep in touch with my Lake Fork fishing report. Bass for the most part are in the deeper water. I have been catching them on Carolina rig and 10 inch worms in 15-18 feet of water. There needs to be a drop into deeper water close by and bait fish on the points for there to be bass. Your electronics will help you find these areas or your maps in your depth finder. Best color has been on the Carolina rig baby brush hog in watermelon red candy, and chartreuse pepper ring fry, and the best color in the 10 inch worm has been blue fleck. The crappie bite has been good in my brush piles in 21-26 feet of water on minnows. The jig bite has been slow. But when they do bite a jig blue ice has been the best color. As for the sand bass, they are following the big schools of shad moving around the lake right now. And there is a lot of bait fish around!!!! My best bait has been the storm swim bait (2inch) in white. I cast it out and let it go to the bottom than slowly jig it back to the boat. I will be attending the Dallas boat show starting July 21 and running through July 24. Stop by my booth and lets set up your fall or spring 2017 fishing trip. I furnish everything for your trip just come get in the boat and go fishing. I have a Legend bass boat and a 22 foot bay boat for the bigger crappie trips. So stay in touch with my web site for the latest Lake Fork fishing report.  #lakeforkbassfishingguides #lakeforkguides #lakeforkfishingguides #lakeforkcrappieguides #lakefork #lakeforkfishingreports
