Lake Fork Bass Fishing

Lake Fork crappie fishing with Doug Shampine DSP Guide Service

Expecting the bass to be spawned out on Lake Fork? Most of them have not spawned due to cold fronts and high muddy water. But with the next full moon the majority will spawn. Than that leaves the main lake areas to so the same in May. I have been catching bass on Carolina rig with baby brush hogs in green pumpkin, watermelon red and watermelon candy red. Best depth has been 3-6 feet. Shad are also on the move towards shallow water. Now is the time to think about your crappie trips for June and on. I am now booking those trips and I furnish everything for your trip. Lake Fork is noted for big crappie, sand bass and catfish and I guide for all of those. I use a 22 foot bay boat for the Lake Fork crappie, catfish and sand bass trips. So bring your family and go fishing on Lake Fork. I put out brush piles for crappie and make my own catfish holes. So you do not have to worry about fishing under the bridges and catching small crappie. We park over my brush piles and fish straight down and catch good messes of slabs. Great for the kids to learn how to fish and what a bite feels like. I use both minnows and jigs for the crappie trips. So text or call 940-902-3855 for open dates in June and on and keep in mind the fall fishing on Lake Fork is also very good. Fish will be feeding up in the fall getting ready for winter and the bite is aggressive. So come give it a try. #lakeforkbassfishingguides #lakeforkguides #lakefork #lakeforkguides Also check out my twitter and facrbook pages for short daily fishing reports.
