In a couple of days, March will be here and the big female bass will be moving. With the cold week we have had, the lake will have dropped into the 40’s in the shallow pockets. So give it a few days to warm up before trying to find that big female. Make no mistake about it, this is the time to come to Lake Fork, Tx bass fishing and will be for the next couple of months. Don’t get in a hurry using these baits as the water is cold and so are the bass. So move the bait slowly when you are Lake Fork bass fishing.  Bass fishing will continue to improve as we get in to mid March as the water warms back up and the big bass look for their spawning grounds.
