Lake Fork fishing

Lake Fork fishing with Doug Shampine DSP Guide Service

Lake Fork fishing in May is always good for bass, crappie, sand bass and catfish. Even brim fishing gets good in May. So if you want to try Lake Fork fishing, let me take you out and help you find the fish and even take home a mess to eat. I furnish everything for your trip, just come get in either my Legend bass boat or my 22 foot bay boat for larger group crappie trips and lets go fishing. I am now booking mid June and July and fall trips so give me a call or text for open dates. 940-902-3855 Bass fishing has been good on top water early than switching to square bill crank baits or Carolina rig baby brush hogs in watermelon red or watermelon candy red on main lake points. Best top water bait ahs been the bigger yellow magic and a spook with a shad colored belly. As for the crappie fishing, the bigger crappie are now moving off shore and can be found under the bridges or in the brush piles located in 19=22 foot of water. Best bait has been the minnow but catching a few on jigs in blue ice by Bobby Garland. I have a lot of brush piles we will fish if you book a Lake Fork fishing trip using my guide service. The sand bass bite has been good and you can find them on windy points using a square bill crank bait in shad color that dives up to four feet. They are feeding on the shad that are coming in to spawn and there are some big ones in the school to be caught. You can take home 25 per person and I clean them for you. As for the catfish, they are starting their spawn and will be shallow for the next couple of weeks. Any of the catfish pates called punch baits will work to catch a mess. So Lake Fork fishing is good right now and its the time to come have some fun on Lake Fork fishing for any thing that bites!!! #lakeforkcrappieguides #lakeforktrophybass #lakeforkbassfishingguides #lakeforkguides #lakeforkfishingguides
