Lake Fork bass fishing

Fork bass fishing with DSP Guide Service

Fork bass fishing is changing almost daily as we have the warmer nights. Todays trip with Gene and Chase found the bass we caught in 1-3 feet of water. Water temperature was 67 in the afternoon.  But if we bet a cold night that will shut off that bite. But Fork bass fishing is getting exciting as we get deeper into March. Best baits were a texas rigged baby brush hog in green pumpkin and dipping the tail in spike it. Water is stained in the areas we were fishing which were Glade and Burch. The good news is that the Fork bass fishing will be very good as the water gets warmer because of the good growth of hydrilla I am finding. The frog bite this year will be outstanding!!! I still have a few open dates in March, April and May so you still have time to book your Fork bass fishing trip. I am also booking crappie trips for late April, May and the summer months. I have a 22 foot bay boat I use for crappie, sand bass and catfish trips so I can take more that 2 people on the trips. So get your trip set up soon so you can still get the prime dates that are open. As for the crappie they are moving towards the shallow water. In the west arm, the 515 bridge, 2946 and the 514 bridges are all producing crappie as they move towards shallow water to spawn later this month. Best color jig has been electric chicken at about 10 feet deep. So if you are planning a Fork bass fishing trip or crappie, sand bass or catfish, let me take you fishing. I furnish everything for your trip just come get in the boat and go fishing. Bring the kids along and lets teach them how to fish and have a great day on the water.
