Bass fishing on Fork with DSP Guide Service

Bass fishing on Fork could be a little tougher if you are going to fish the upcoming Bass Champs tournament next weekend. We have had about 6 inches of rain depending where you live around the lake, and the lake is a little over a foot above normal. Most of the major creeks will be muddy. Rain is suppose to stop Saturday so the lake will have a week to settle down. Flood gates are currently open. Best baits for me has been the Texas rigged baby brush hog in green pumpkin and dipping the tail in spike it, chartreuse pepper ring fry using a split shot for weight, and a black finesse worm. I have been fishing in Glade and Burch and a few smaller pockets on the north ends of the lake. For you crappie fishermen, they are still very scattered moving into the north pockets and creeks. Fishing the edges of the cover with a jig will produce a mess of crappie. Best color has been electric chicken. I am now booking crappie trips which I start guiding for in May, and fishing out of a 22 foot bay boat. This means I can take 4-5 adults so give me a call for open dates. May is filling quickly and now booking June and July. So lets get your trip set up. I furnish everything for your trip and at the end of your day will also clean and bag your fish. So if you are thinking  bass fishing on Fork or crappie, sand bass or catfish give me a call. Bass fishing on Fork is hot right now but crappie fishing will come in a close second so get your trip set up and we can get you a mess of fish to take home. Or teach you kids or loved one how to fish. They will thank you for the outing and time to enjoy a day on the lake.
