It is early in January and the crappie fishing on Lake Fork is now in the typical winter pattern. I am catching crappie at 35-42 feet using jigs and minnows. Best color jig was chartreuse/pink and the crappie were right on the bottom. I am fishing humps along the damn area and the water is in good shape there. Surface temperature was 50.7 degrees and I expect it to drop a little more this week with the nights in the lower 40’s. The lake level is about back to normal. The bite was a little slow but when you got a bite it was a hard thump. I was crappie fishing on Lake Fork when a front came through and I think it had the bite a little slow. I am booking winter crappie fishing trips on Lake Fork for January and February and than will start bass fishing in March for pre-spawn. Give me a call or text for open dates 940-902-3855 for crappie fishing on Lake Fork or bass fishing the spring months. Most of our bass spawn in April, but there will always be a few in late March on the north end of the lake and a few in May on the lower end of the lake on the main lake points. I furnish everything for your trip no matter if you are crappie fishing or bass fishing. I can handle 3 adult bass fisherman or 4 adult crappie fishermen. I have been guiding on Lake Fork for 18 years. For my crappie customers I have brush piles put out all over the lake so we can catch good messes of crappie on each trip. I will be attending the Dallas boat show starting February 1 and running through February 10. So stop by and lets set up your crappie fishing on Lake Fork or your bass fishing on Lake Fork trips. #lakeforkcrappiefishingguides #lakeforkcrappieguides #lakeforkguides #lakeforkfishingguides #lakeforkbassfishingguides #lakeforkbassfishingguide #lakeforktrophybass #crappiefishingonlakefork
