Lake Fork, Tx is located 75 miles east of Dallas on Lake Fork Creek, a tributary of the Sabine river. It was impounded in 1980 and completed filling in 1985. Lake Fork covers 27,700 surface acres. The current state record large-mouth bass (18.18 pounds) was caught from Lake Fork in 1992.
