One of Lake Fork bass fishing guides Doug Shampine takes Mary to the bass

Going to hire one of the many Lake Fork bass fishing guides working the lake? I have been guiding on Lake Fork for 17 years and furnish everything for your trip. So if you are thinking to use one of the Lake Fork bass fishing guides for a bass, sand bass or even a crappie trip check out my guide service. August bass fishing when the lake is full is normally good and we have water in the vegetation. This gives the bait fish a place to hide and also gives the bass a place to ambush the bait fish. I am catching nice bass in 2-5 feet of water using  several different baits. I am throwing a black finesse worm on a split shot rig and a black trick worm rigged texas style with a 1/8 weight. I am looking for the vegetation in the water and bait fish around the grass. Very early I am throwing a white frog in the grass and catching tip water fish till the sun comes up. I am also catching bass in the deeper water on red shad 8 inch worms rigged texas style with a 1/4 bullet weight. If you now where a deeper crappie brush pile is located throw that worm in the pile because there are bass hanging around the brush piles in deeper water. For you crappie fisherman, they are still biting in the brush piles in 24-26 feet using minnows and ice blue jigs. I use the Bobby Garland swimming jig bodies and they work real good on a 1/8 oz jig head. So if you are going to pick one of the many Lake Fork bass fishing guides for a fall trip or 2018 trip, please consider using my guide service. I guide for bass, crappie, and sand bass.
