Before I get to talking about bass fishing Fork, let me up date you on the boat show activity where we can talk face to face and book your fishing trip, I will be attending the Marine Expo in Little Rock this coming weekend. I have a booth on the fishing tackle isle so if you are in the area stop by and lets talk about setting you fishing trip up for 2016. Than starting February 5th through the 14th, I will be at the Dallas Boat show booking trips. Than the last weekend of February I will be In OK City at the Backwoods Hunting and Fishing Expo booking trips.
So if you are in any of these areas, stop by and lets set up your bass fishing Fork trip. If not into bass fishing, I also guide for crappie, sand bass and catfish. I can handle up to 5 adults so get your group together and lets go fishing. Now as for bass fishing Fork, I caught bass on a black/blue jig with a #11 black pork trailer this past weekend. Fish were in 11 feet of water and the best bite came off the private boat ramps next to docks. We also caught some bass on a 1/2 oz rattle trap red, with chartreuse belly on secondary points on the lower end of the lake. The upper end is still pretty stained and the water surface temperature is 51 degrees which is pretty good for late January.
Now is the time to contact me about booking a trip. As I get started into the boat show time period the bookings go fast and so do the prime dates, like spring break in Texas. Send me a text, or call or send me a email to doug@lakeforktrophybass.com to set up your trip. Or set it up at the boat shows I have listed. I really think if this warm weather continues, the bass fishing Fork will be outstanding early this year.
