In a couple of days, March will be here and the big female bass will be moving. With the cold week we have had, the lake will have dropped into the 40’s in the shallow pockets. So give it a few days to warm up before trying to find that big female. Make no mistake about it, this is the time to come to Lake Fork, Tx bass fishing and will be for the next couple of months. If you are looking for a guide, check out my guide service. I have been guiding on Lake Fork, Tx for 15 years. My daily fee covers everything for your trip including all the artificial baits we will be using.

If you are checking with other guides, ask them if they furnish all the baits you will be using on your trip. I also furnish rods and reels if you do not want to bring you own. You can text me for open dates 940-902-3855 or email me at doug@lakeforktrophybass.com for dates. So if you have read about big bass moving on Lake Fork, Tx  and need a guide, give me a call. And as we have warmer weather, the Lake Fork bass fishing will be better and better. What are the bass biting on right now? Check out the main lake points using a suspending jerk bait, A rig, and a square bill crank bait that dives around 4 ft.

Don’t get in a hurry using these baits as the water is cold and so are the bass. So move the bait slowly when you are Lake Fork bass fishing.  Bass fishing will continue to improve as we get in to mid March as the water warms back up and the big bass look for their spawning grounds. Come to Lake Fork, Tx and enjoy your day on the water!!
