2020 has been a real different year so far! But the crappie and bass really don’t know any difference and the fall fishing means the bite is on. As for the crappie, still catching them in 18-24 feet in the brush piles using minnows and jigs. For you jig fisherman monkey milk by bobby garland has been my best color on a 1/16 oz jig head. I am also starting to catch a few on chartreuse and pink color using the same jig head. As the water gets colder this color will produce better. The water temperature is still 65 degrees lower end of the lake. As a reminder I furnish everything for your fall crappie fishing on Lake Fork. Just come get in my 22 ft center console bay boat and go fishing. I can take 4-5 adults on my big boat. Fall crappie fishing on Lake Fork will keep getting better as the water cools off more and December will be very good. So time to call or text 940-902-3855 for the open dates coming up and lets go fishing. For those that don’t like jig fishing the minnow bite is also good! This is also a great time to teach the kids to catch fish. So bring them along and let me teach them how to fish. Now for the bass fishing, fall also is the time to catch them shallow feeding!! Look for the shad shallow along the vegetation and you will find bass feeding with them. They will push shad into the shallow pockets and feed till they cannot eat any more. Rattle traps, spinner baits, square bill crank baits will all catch these bass. I like to find them early and throw a buzz bait in those areas and hang on. So if interested in a crappie or bass trip in the spring, call or text 940-902-3855 for open dates. #lakeforktrophybass #fallcrappiefishingonlakefork #lakeforkcrappiefishingguides #lakeforkbassfishingguides
