Time for bass & crappie action on Lake Fork as we are almost mid way thought the month. The lake is at normal pool and the surface temperature is still in the upper 40’s due to the last cold front. But I have found some fish on the move as they think spring is on the way. For those of you living up north if you do not have your spring trip booked by now you may be missing out using one of the better guides. If you are interested in booking a trip call or text me 940-902-3855 for open dates. I have been guiding on Lake Fork for 20 years so give me a call. Bass are being caught on several baits. The suspending jerk bait, square bill, 3/4 oz spinner bait, and even some texas rigged plastic are catching bass in the 12 ft range or less. Main lake points and creek channels are producing and the bite will improve with just a little warm weather. Keep in mind the most bass over 13 lbs are caught in March which is not very far off. Biggest bass caught last year was over 15 lbs so time to get your trip booked. The crappie are also on the move and now showing up in the 15 ft range along the creeks. It wont be ling they will be along the vegetation in the north end of the lake where they will start their spawn. I use a cork and minnow to find them than switch to a jig. The crappie sometimes are hard to keep up with as they move into an area, spawn and move on. So again if you do not have your trip on the books you need to do it pretty quick. You can email me for dates also doug@lakeforktrophybass.com or call or text 940-902-3855. I know the bass & crappie action will continue to get better so time to get in on the action. #lakeforkbassfishingguides #lakeforkguides #lakeforkfishingguides #lakeforkcrappiefishingguides #lakeforkcrappieguides #lakeforktrophybass
