Lake Fork crappie fishing has been real good the last two weeks!! This is the time of year you can catch a real good mess of crappie, catfish, bar fish, sand bass and sometimes a nice bass out of the same brush pile. Now is the time to take advantage of the lake fork crappie fishing while it last before it really gets hot and they go deeper and are harder to catch. I have been doing my best in my brush piles in 22-24 ft of water and minnows has been the best bait. Jig bite has been slow. If you like catfish(very good tasting out of Fork) we will catch several of those on minnows also. If you cannot make the summer months September, October and November months are very good times to crappie and also bass fish. So if you cannot do summer consider fall and book your trip at the boat show.
