Bass, crappie & sand bass fishing with Doug Shampine DSP Guide Service

Thinking about bass, crappie & sand bass fishing on Lake Fork? All three are biting on Fork and will continue to get better. As for the bass, I am catching them on yellow magics, spooks, and texas rigger baby brush hogs in watermelon red in 4-7 feet of water. I am still fishing slow and if there is vegetation it is even better. The bass will be in the weeds. As for the crappie, they are now headed back off shore towards the deeper brush piles for the summer. I have been using minnows and jigs to catch a mess of slabs in my brush piles. I have a 22 foot bay boat that I use for my crappie and sand bass trips. I can take up to 5 adults on a trip and I furnish everything for the trip. Just come get in my boat and go fishing. Best depth has been 17-20 feet and best color jig has been blue ice. Now for the sand bass, they are chasing shad on windy points shallow. A square bill crankbait in shad color will catch a boat load of sand bass right now. When they move to deeper water, a shad colored storm swim bait will catch them on the bottom. Just throw it out and let it sink to the bottom and jig it back through the school and one will grab it. So if you are bass, crappie & sand bass fishing on Fork give me a call. I can help you get on the fish and take home a mess or crappie or sand bass. Big tournament will be on Fork next weekend so if you are not fishing in the tournament, not a good weekend to plan to be on the lake. I am now booking trips for June and July, so give me a call and lets set up your trip. Text me 940-902-3855 or call for open dates. Also booking fall bass, crappie & sand bass fishing trips. #lakeforkcrappieguides #lakeforkguides #lakeforkfishingguides #lakeforktrophybass
