Lake Fork Crappie Fishing

Lake Fork crappie fishing with DSP Guide Service

Lake Fork bass spawn has been off and on same with the crappie. Some of the bass and crappie spawned earlier and some are trying to spawn right now. By the next full moon most of the bass in the major necks and pockets will have spawned. The main lake bass will spawn next month. I checked some of my brush piles a couple of days ago and only found small crappie. Big ones are still shallow. I have been catching some nice black crappie shallow on plastics. the frog bite is starting and the yellow magic bite will be starting any time. Target spawning areas. I also have been throwing a Carolina rig in deeper water looking for those bass which spawned earlier and now are post spawn. Best bait has been a watermelon candy speed craw working the 8-14 foot range on main lake points. There are big sand bass on the windy main lake points and you can catch them on a shallow diving white crank bait. I want to encourage any of you that are thinking of booking a crappie trip to get it on the books. All my May dates are now booked and part of June, so give me a call to get your trip set up. That goes for bass also. If you have 4 or 5 people that want to fish as a group for crappie let me know. I have a 22 foot bay boat which will take care of your group. I furnish everything for your trip and clean and bag your catch. So text or call 940-902-3855 for open dates. I have many brush piles I have put in the lake and we will be fishing those not the bridges. So if you are thinking of fishing on Lake Fork give me a call and lets set up your Lake Fork fishing trip. #lakeforkbassfishingguides #lakeforkcrappieguides #lakeforkguides #lakeforkfishingguides
