Weather has been good and Lake Fork bass fishing is January has been better than normal for this time of the year. We may have an early spring, which means Lake Fork bass fishing will be getting good early!! Before I tell you what the bass are doing I want to remind you that if you live in the Little Rock area, I will be attending the Marine Expo January 22-24 and will have a booth there booking fishing trips. Not only do I guide for bass, but also crappie, sand bass and catfish. So you can book your trip for any time in 2016 and have a great time on Lake Fork.

Than on February 5th through the 14th I will be attending the Dallas Boat show and will be also booking trips there and than will be attending the Backwoods Hunting and Fishing Expo in OK city February 26-28 and will be booking trips at that show also. So if you are thinking about booking a trip with me, please get it set up before these shows get rolling, because most of the good dates will be gone after the shows are completed. Its real easy to set up a trip just text or call me at 940-902-3855 for open dates or discuss details of a trip. Now let me tell you what the bass are doing if you are thinking about a Lake Fork bass fishing trip this month.

I am catching bass on two different baits right now. One is the black/blue jig with a #11 black pork trailer and one is the 3/4 oz. rattle trap in red and a chartreuse belly. I am fishing at the main lake points going into the bigger pockets like Little Caney, Bell and Burch. I am also fishing the creek channels going into these necks. Best depth has been 13-17 feet. If you are fishing the upper end of the lake it will be stained but the bass are there. So lets get your trip set up and go after a trophy bass for you!!
