Lake Fork Bass Fishing Report

Lake Fork bass fishing with DSP Guide Service

Lake Fork bass fishing is starting to heat up. A couple more weeks the bass will be really moving and feeding as they go. We have had a mild winter so far and the bass movement will start reflecting the above normal temperatures. I am finding bass in the 8-10 foot range right now. They are hitting on a suspending jerk bait, gold in color, red rattle trap and if you are fishing stained water (which there is a lot of that in the north end of the lake) throw red/chartreuse belly trap, and a black blue jig with green pumpkin trailer.

Next week the weather shows to continue to be warm and the surface temperature will continue to warm. So look for those big bass to be moving into the 6-8 foot range and feeding as they go. If we do not get a major cold front, we will start spawning early this year. Could be as early as the third week of March!! So you need to get your bass fishing trip on the books before much longer.

I will be attending the Backwoods Fishing expo in OK City the 26-28th of February and I expect by the time the show is over most of the good dates will be booked. So call me 940-902-3855 or text for open dates or email me at doug@lakeforktropybass.com and we can set up your trip. If you have never been to Lake Fork bass fishing you are really missing some great fishing. People come from all over the country to Lake Fork bass fishing and keep coming back every year. So make it your year to check out Lake Fork bass fishing and see if I can help you catch that bass of a life time. I furnish everything for your trip just come get in the boat and go fishing. I will also assist you with your lodging when you book your Lake Fork bass fishing trip.
