Lake Fork fishing with Doug Shampine DSP Guide Service

Lake Fork fishing is on every ones mind this spring since it has been warmer than normal. But the water temperature has not warmed up as fast as every one thinks it should. A cold front will hit tomorrow and the night temperatures will fall back into the upper 30’s and stall the big bass coming in shallow. To book a trip call or text me at 940-902-3855 to help you find that big bass you have been looking for. I am also booking crappie and sand bass trips for May and on. So give me a call. Lake For fishing today was slow and the wind was strong out of the north east. We caught all our bass on Carolina rig baby brush hogs in green pumpkin dipping the tail in chartreuse dye. Also the senko type baits are working with out a weight in green pumpkin. Bass are holding in 3-7 feet about half way back in the necks on secondary points. I am fishing all over the lake doing a lot or running. Areas with some vegetation is producing the best so far, and that is limited. I think about mid to late next week the fishing should improve as we get some warmer weather back. This week is spring break week and a big tournament coming up next Sunday. So the lake will be busy. If you want to get into some prime time bass fishing here is the dates I currently have open for some great Lake Fork fishing. March 20,21,22,23,24,26,28. and 31. These are pre spawn dates and will be some great Lake Fork fishing for bass. The crappie are now showing up in the shallow water in the back of the creeks in 3-6 feet around brush piles. Jigs and minnows are working so time to get a mess for the table!! Still finding sand bass in deeper water on points. Call me for a bass trip and lets get you a trophy bass this year and have a great time doing it.  #lakeforktrophybass #lakeforkbassfishingguides #lakeforkgguides #lakeforkfishingguides #lakeforkcrappieguides
