Check weekly Lake Fork fishing report by Doug Shampine

Now that we are past the holidays fisherman are starting to think spring fishing on Lake Fork. Check out my weekly Lake Fork fishing report for the latest on what is going on with the bass and crappie. I know as we get closer to March (first big tournament on Lake Fork) more and more fishermen will be needing to see a Lake Fork fishing report/ I will be booking trips for people wanting to pre-fish for this tournament. I will show you where you can catch bass for this tournament and what to use. So give me a call or text 904-902-3855 for open dates. The bass right now are holding tight around the bigger creek channels in deeper water. The bigger and deeper creeks have big stumps on the creep bank and that will be where these big bass will be hanging out. I am fishing 15-20 foot of water right now using a 1/2 oz black/blue jig with a black #11 pork trailer very slow. You will not get a lot of bites but the ones you get will be good fish. So if you want to try your hand at jig fishing text me and lets get you on the water and catch one of these big bass. I will be doing the Dallas Boat Expo starting the first weekend of February and the second week of February so come by and lets visit and set up your fishing trip as I will be booking trips at the show. If you cannot make it to the show I will be updating weekly my website with Lake Fork fishing reports. If you start checking other guides very few will do a weekly Lake Fork fishing report, as they like to do one by the month which doesn’t tell you much detail. By the way Burch creek is where I am looking and finding bass along the channel. #lakeforktrophybass #lakeforkbassfishingguides #lakeforkguides #lakeforkfishingguides #lakeforkcrappiefishingguides #lakeforkcrappieguides #lakeforkfishingreports
