Planning on using one of the Lake Fork fishing guides for your pre fishing of one of the several upcoming tournaments on Fork? I have been guiding for 15 years on Fork and can help you find bass and fish places you probably have not fished before. Don’t be fooled by one of the part time Lake Fork fishing guides looking for a quick check. Be sure you check them out before you hire one of the Lake Fork fishing guides. I furnish everything for your trip including rods and reels, all the artificial baits we need and bottled water for the day. So just come get in my Legend and go fishing.
Bass fishing has been tough the last month or more. But now that we have gotten to September the bite will improve. You will start catching a lot of small bass but the bigger ones are there also. I am starting to find grass growing back in the lake finally and the bass are starting to relate to it. Frogs, or a yellow magic are working early. Than I am switching to a fluke or Senko type bait in watermelon red and dipping the tail. With a couple more weeks of growth the grass will be holding a lot of bass in certain parts of the lake.
The bait fish are already there. If you are not a bass fisherman, I also guide for crappie and sand bass. The fall fishing will be very good for those also. So book your trip and come to Fork and have some fun. If you have not been to the lake for a year, (last Big Bass Splash) the lake has changed a lot. So you might want to consider using one of the Lake Fork fishing guides to help you on your pre fishing trip or just having fun on the lake.
